  Prayukti Job Fair on January 18.

The Prayukti job fair, jointly organized by the Kollam District Employment Exchange and the Employability Center, will take place on January 18 at the Ayur Marthoma Institute of Information Technology. The event offers over 1,500 vacancies across 20 private institutions.

Opportunities are available in diverse sectors, including banking, engineering, finance, accounts, sales, marketing, paramedical, administration, HR, IT, education, telecommunications, and automobiles.

Eligible candidates aged 18 to 45 years with qualifications such as SSLC, Plus Two, Degree, Engineering, Diploma, ITI, or higher qualifications can participate. Final-year students and those awaiting exam results are also welcome. Participants should bring their NCS ID obtained during online registration at ncs.gov.in and five copies of their biodata. Spot registration will also be available for those unable to register online.

  Applications Invited for Ketavilakku Scholarship Scheme.


The Backward Classes Development Department has invited applications for the 'Ketavilakku' Scholarship Scheme, which provides a scholarship of ₹1500 per year to OBC students studying in Classes 1 to 8 in government/government-aided schools in the state. Those who have scored 90 percent or more marks in the previous year's annual examination and have an annual income of up to ₹2.50 lakhs will be considered under this scheme. The last date for students to submit applications to schools is January 20. The available applications should be completed by the school authorities through the portal egrantz 3.0 by January 31.
