Scheduled Caste students are invited to apply for the second phase of the scheme that provides financial assistance for medical and engineering entrance examination coaching. Students currently studying in Plus One (Science stream) in Government or aided institutions and enrolled in coaching at government-empanelled training centres are eligible to apply. Applicants must have secured not less than a B+ grade in Science, English, and Mathematics in the SSLC examination for the academic year 2024–2025. Students from the CBSE/CSE syllabus should have obtained A2/A grades in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in Class 10. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed ₹6 lakh. Eligible students must submit their applications in the prescribed format to the District Scheduled Caste Development Officer, Palakkad, on or before February 28.

.The third International Energy Fair will be held on February 7 at Prof. V. K. Damodaran Nagar, KUFOS Campus, Panangad, Kochi. Organized by the Energy Management Centre under the State Energy Department, the fair is themed “Empowering Energy Future.”
A wide range of energy-efficient household appliances, solar energy products, and electric vehicles will be showcased at the event. The fair will also feature sessions on electric vehicle safety and discussions on nuclear energy led by former scientists from the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). Entry to the fair is free.
Kerala State Jawahar Bala Bhavan will conduct “Kalimuttam” mid-summer vacation classes for children in the months of April-May. Children aged 4-16 can participate.
